Thank you for making the 2025 festival an outstanding Day
A massive thank you from all of the team to you for coming along and making the 2025 Scottish Smallholder Festival into an incredible day! There were so many highlights from the day – the fantastic sheep show, the remarkable equine ring parades and demonstrations, some gorgeous goats, a great rural skills competition, one of the best seminar programmes, some great shopping options, the remarkable crowds in the SRUC Theatre, the Pig fancy dress!
So many people to thank – the judges, the speakers, the stewards, the helpers, the demonstrators, the small producers, the traders, the keepers, the food and drink suppliers, the team ‘behind the scenes’ who are working hard today to clear the buildings up and clean everything from the floor to the pens. Many of them are volunteers doing it for the love of small-scale farming and country life. So a huge thank you to them all.
A particular thanks to the core team who have been working since last year to deliver this event – you are all stars and we start again tomorrow for 2026!
